HOT TOPIC – License Agreements Cancelled! All of Idaho’s license agreements for reciprocal and
regular licenses have now been cancelled, EXCEPT for the reciprocal agreement
with Oregon (we are proposing changes to this agreement but nothing has
been finalized yet). Montana
cancelled its agreement effective 2/15/09, Colorado cancelled theirs
effective 1/31/09, and Idaho cancelled the remaining agreements effective 3/23/09.
Licensees who were licensed under an agreement will have their
licenses converted to a primary Idaho license. At their next renewal date, these
licensees will have to meet the Idaho CE requirement, which includes the
Commission Core course plus 16 hours of electives. Idaho accepts most CE credits from
other states, and there is a form available on the website for you to
submit those courses for posting to your Idaho license record. Please contact our Education
Department at 334-3285 if you have questions about CE,
or our Licensing Department if you need information about licensing
matters.
Did you know? You may not receive credit for
taking the same CE class twice in a renewal period.
If you have renewed
your license on inactive status, you must complete the CE requirement PRIOR
to reactivating your license.
